About me

I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist working with adults, adolescents, and children in Mumbai. My work is grounded in the psychoanalytic tradition, with a focus on understanding how early relationships, unconscious emotional experiences, and patterns formed over time continue to influence the way we live, relate, and experience ourselves in the present.

I also work within the school setting, offering therapeutic support, consultations, and reflective spaces around for children, adolescents, parents and teachers. Before entering clinical practice, I trained and worked extensively in the fields of visual arts, theatre, and education. I worked as a theatre and art practitioner and educator, across artistic and educational settings in India and internationally.

These experiences continue to shape the way I think and listen in my clinical work. I am interested in the many ways emotional life expresses itself, through words, relationships, creativity, silence, the body, and repeated patterns that may not yet be fully understood.

My work has also included involvement with organisations supporting vulnerable and marginalised children and adolescents, including those affected by trauma and social exclusion. These experiences deepened my understanding of the emotional realities people carry within themselves, often quietly and over long periods of time.

I offer a confidential, thoughtful, and non judgemental space in which emotional difficulties can be explored carefully and at depth. People of all ages, come to therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, feelings of emptiness, questions of identity, creative blocks, or a sense of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy offers the possibility of understanding these experiences more deeply, and of gradually finding new ways of relating to oneself and to others and finding a deeper fulfilment in all aspects of life .
