About Me
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist working with adults, adolescents, and children in Mumbai. My work is grounded in the psychoanalytic tradition, with a focus on understanding how early relationships, unconscious emotional experiences, and patterns formed over time continue to
influence the way we live, relate, and experience ourselves in the present.

Services
Child Psychotherapy
Children who are able to communicate verbally can engage meaningfully in psychotherapy. They may come with anxiety, emotional distress, trauma, loss, difficulties at school, behavioural concerns, or feelings that are hard to express in words.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy provides a confidential and emotionally containing space where children can communicate through play, creativity, conversation, and imagination. Together, these help make sense of their inner world and support healthier emotional development.

The work also includes regular parent consultations. Parents and children are seen separately by different therapists, allowing each space to remain confidential while supporting the child's overall wellbeing.
Adolescent Psychotherapy
Adolescence is a period of profound emotional, psychological, and physical change. Young people may seek therapy for anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, school-related struggles, self-criticism, or feeling isolated and overwhelmed.

I offer a thoughtful, non-judgemental space where adolescents can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy aims to understand the deeper meaning behind emotional difficulties rather than simply treating symptoms.

For those aged 12–18, therapy is usually accompanied by separate parent work. Young adults aged 19–25 are generally seen independently, although parent consultations can sometimes be helpful
Adult Psychotherapeutic-Psychoanalysis
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy offers the opportunity for lasting psychological change through a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your emotional life.

People come to therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, creative blocks, or feeling stuck. Rather than offering quick solutions, psychoanalytic psychotherapy explores the underlying patterns that shape emotional experience and
relationships.

I work primarily in person, where the shared therapeutic space can play an important part in the process, while online sessions are available when appropriate.
Parent Work
Parenting can be deeply rewarding, but also emotionally demanding. Parent work offers a confidential, reflective space to think about the challenges of family life without judgement or blame.

Together we explore your child's emotional world alongside your own experiences, helping you respond with greater confidence, understanding, and connection.

I work with individuals and couples, whether or not their child is in therapy. When a child is in treatment, parents and children are seen separately by different therapists to protect each therapeutic
space.
Talks & Workshops
I offer tailored talks and workshops for schools, universities, organisations, parents, educators, and community groups.

Drawing on my clinical experience, I speak on topics including child and adolescent development, parenting, identity, anxiety, emotional wellbeing, social media and body image, addiction, and mental health in educational and workplace settings. Each session is designed to meet the needs of its audience and encourage thoughtful discussion and reflection.
